Parquet: Geometric, Puzzle-Like Kilim Rugs by Front for GAN

Front’s Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist have brought the idea of traditional flooring into the kilim rug world with the Parquet collection for GAN. The rugs feature those geometric patterns often spotted in traditional parquet wood floors, but they’ve reimagined them with bold colors and irregular shapes, proving that rugs don’t have to be rectangular.

The Parquet collection includes three reversible designs – Hexagon, Rhomb, and Tetragon – which are made up of four to eight sided shapes joined together to form the eye-catching patterns. Each kilim is made from pure wool on manual looms by skilled craftspeople in India.
