I’ve seen lots of carpets, mats, and flooring that looks like pebbles. And when I first saw Neora Zigler’s Pebble Carpet, I thought, what’s different about this one?
Well, Zigler’s indoor carpet is actually made out of pebbles,each individually sewn inside of the fabric to form the carpet. Now, that’s something I hadn’t seen before!
The carpet has an appearance of being light weight and soft, but is surprisingly heavy and firm because of the stones inside. Inspired by the clean, minimalist aesthetic of Eastern cultures, Zigler created a calm, soothing and soft underfoot experience that actually seems to massage you while you walk.
