A Place to Showcase Your Precious Objects

Everyone has things they hold dear, but oftentimes, we have nowhere to display them. Set them on a table and they’ll get dusty or knocked over, place them on a shelf and they’ll get lost in the mix. Studio Thier&vanDaalen designed the Showcase Mirror to not only protect your precious objects, but to display them properly. The bubbled mirror rests within a wooden frame instantly turning your items into artwork.

Iris and Ruben dreamt of capturing the temporary beauty that comes from blowing soap bubbles. The delicate nature of a floating bubble is what inspired the series, which is made when a round bubble of glass is blown into a square frame. Combining two handcrafts, glassblowing and woodworking, the two diverse materials manage to come together perfectly.
