Poltrona Frau Launches Their Boundless Living Outdoor Collections
In a first for Poltrona Frau, they’ve introduced three outdoor collections referred to as the Boundless Living Outdoor Collections. Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba and Kensaku Oshiro, the versatile furniture is meant to be used indoors and outdoors. The pieces can adapt to the seasons and various activities of every day, with outdoor life acting as an extension of indoor living – no boundaries.
The technical details of the collections’ construction are high level with the best materials, with upholstery that’s made of absorbent materials. Woven from polypropylene fibers and acrylic or polypropylene yarns, the fabrics are soft to the touch, with a warm and textured feel.
All three collections encompassed within Boundless Living have a plethora of possibility, thanks to volumes and proportions that cling to the idea of comfort. Solaria, designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, focuses on lounging, The Secret Garden, by Roberto Lazzeroni, explores dining and relaxation, and Sparkler provides ambient lighting. The collections work as well together as they do on their own. Four inspired color families have been developed: sand and stone (Shoreline), nautical style (Ocean Waves), sunsets (Above Sunset) and Italian gardens (Scent of Green). Look to a wide range of accessories such as cushions, carpets, baskets and tables to unite them further.
Easily disassembled for sustainability purposes, Poltrona Frau’s outdoor collections are designed with efficiency, durability and waste reduction in mind. The structures are made of powder-coated stainless steel or solid teak in a natural finish, the wood FSC certified. All materials used are certified and approved for outdoor use.
