A Multi-Faceted Sculpture Made of 3D Tiles

Visual artist Kit Webster partnered with Chiara Kickdrum, who did the sound, to create this illuminated geometric wall sculpture called Porcelana Innovadora. Composed of multiple layers of various 3D ceramic tiles, the sculpture is illuminated by black and white animated patterns that shift over the tiles crafting a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of texture and dimension.

Paired with sounds of ceramic tile recordings mixed with electronica samples, the piece invokes a multi-sensory experience full of light and sound.
