Rabbit’s Tale: An Office with a Strong, Graphic Presence

Bangkok-based digital marketing agency Rabbit’s Tale reached out to tidtangstudio to create an office space with a modern vibe. The 20th floor space used to be a two-story penthouse with a spiral staircase placed right in the center. The new design embraces the staircase and made it a focal point of the office. Looking at the company’s name, Rabbit’s Tale, they decided to look at what it implies, that rabbits love to create stories or tales, which means they need their own “burrow”, or place to work. From there, they built the working areas around the spiral staircase, therefore linking all spaces to the stairs.

The rabbits’ burrow concept led to using a dark shade on the long entrance walls with the light-filled office at the end, making it feel like a rabbit hole.

Helping to define the circulation around the stairs, they installed gradient frosted tempered glass that follows the curve.

The black and white color scheme was used throughout the interior giving it a strong, graphic feel.

The stairs reach the 2nd floor with the addition of a dramatic, floor-to-ceiling storage shelf. Each of the square, pixel-like units can be moved.
