Record an Audio Message and Send it to Space

Taking the idea of the old school ‘message in a bottle’ and spinning it into a new idea, Luca Nichetto and Lera Moiseeva developed a new format and did away with the ocean aspect of it. Cosmic Messenger, created for Nooka, records an audio message and sends it into space for all eternity. This project was designed for the 2014 exhibition ZONAL – Extending the Body and Mind.

The orb-like object records a message via a 360 degree camera that then sends video signal to earth, giving the user a space traveling feel. You watch it travel through the eye of the camera as your voice travels into the future and becomes part of infinity.
