Risko Drawing Desk by Digitalab for Viarco

Portuguese pencil manufacturer Viarco partnered with multidisciplinary studio Digitalab on a desk designed for drawing, sketching, and painting. Besides being packed with storage, the Risko Drawing Desk houses a roll of paper that you can wind up as you use it, offering plenty of space to be creative.

The modern desk is constructed out of oak wood with a large work surface for most artistic endeavors. Along the back of the desk is a channel of removable boxes to store pencils and paint brushes, and any other art supplies you might have. You can also use it prop your tablet or a book up.

The paper roll and the empty spindle are hidden within compartments with dials on the front side that let you advance the paper when you’ve run out of space.

The Risko Drawing Desk was featured at the Stockholm Furniture Fair as part of the Associative Design ‘Best of Portugal’ exhibition.
