Ruutu: Vases in Watercolor-Like Colors

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed a collection of 10 vases for Finnish brand iittala that when combined create a delicate landscape on your table. Ruutu, meaning diamond or square in Finnish, come in five different sizes and seven watercolor-like colors that blend seamlessly together.

The diamond-like shape of the vases may seem simple but each one is mouth-blown by skilled craftsmen in a glass factory where it takes seven craftsmen and 24 hours to complete each one.
