Headed by designers Maria De Ambrogio and Stella Tosco, Italian brand serien°umerica designs knitwear and leather accessories that push the boundaries on the typical “Made in Italy” concept. They apply innovative techniques to traditional methods to create their line of fashion forward accessories that drape the body and follow its movements well. Their materials are raw and with the duo’s experimental nature, they turn out pieces with phenomenal detail and a touch of a rough aesthetic.
The messenger bag becomes a backpack or a double volume tote bag. For this A/W 2013 line, they introduced bags with aluminum in between the skin and the internal tissue, which gives the bags a “wrinkled” effect.
The waistcoats, or vests, have rough edges giving it an almost skin effect or a bare feel.
The classic shoes are made by hand with soft leather and feature rounded toes.
