Skeleton: Lighting Inspired by Sand Casting

Itai Bar-On designed the Skeleton lighting series as a modern version of something made using the old technology of sand casting. This interpretation is made from laser-cut sheet metal that becomes a three-dimensional object once assembled. It’s robust, industrial look is meant to remind you of pieces that were made through sand casting.

The look is finished off with Edison bulbs which are replicas of the bulbs used at the turn of the 20th century.
