1. Sound1 Bluetooth Speakers by 11+
The sound quality of these speakers are equally matched by its beautifully minimalist aesthetic. Embedded magnets allow the speakers to be conjoined into a single piece, and a classic leather wrap goes around the Sound1 when not in use. Found at Leibal for $85, this design is a must-buy.
2. Pen Rest: Jet by Minimalux
Most designers are known to revel in their various assortments of pens, pencils, and markers. What better way to display the go-to sketching utensil than on the beautifully sculpted Pen Rest in Jet? Available for £69 at Minimalux, it has a jet black, satin anodized finish with a mirrored stainless steel base.
I am considerably picky when it comes to furniture and accent pieces, but the Flip Table grabbed my attention the first time I laid eyes on it. I included this piece on the Gift Guide because the piece is not only well-designed aesthetically, but is incredibly functional as well. The top surface portion can be detached to act as a tray. The Flip Table currently sells for $250, and can be purchased at Leibal.
4. iPad Air Tilt Case by Hard Graft
There is very little material balance classier than the amalgamation between wool and premium leather. The company is known for their hand-stained vegetable tanned Italian leather produced by skilled workmen that apply the natural coloring from tree bark. The case is available for £95 on Hard Graft’s website.
5. Prestige BN0106 by Braun
Most people have wide ranges of taste when it comes to watches, but one can never go wrong with the Prestige BN0106 by Braun. The watch utilized a state-of-the-art patented scrolling system called the EasySkroll V2.0. Unsurprisingly, the watch won both the iF and red dot design awards for product design. You can pick up the BN0106 for a cool $800 at Fancy.
