Studio PESI Designed a Modern, Modular Version of a Beaded Curtain

You know those beaded curtains hung in doorways that clanked together whenever someone would pass through? studio PESI has given them a modern spin with a modular version that conveys a mist-like feeling. Appropriately named Mist, the design becomes an unclear boundary as if you were engulfed in mist and can’t tell what’s the beginning or end.

The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) modules come in three sizes along with a connection module allowing for various configurations. The components reference droplets that when connected together make up a modern screen or curtain that can be more closed off or open, depending on preference. Whether used as a means of separation in a room or doorway, or added to furniture, the finished product can add a dreamy layer to any space.
