While it pains me to hear that Seth Remsnyder‘s son was stillborn in April, it’s also inspiring to learn how his work has become a place for healing as well. His flowing, organic paintings create “a literal grasping for hope.”
Bold arching lines and curves are reminiscent of arms reaching. Layers upon layers of colors, patterns, and texture only begin to hint at the depth of the artist’s emotions.
