Support the Vignelli Legacy

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Massimo Vignelli, a great design mind and one of the most influential designers of this century. We wanted to find a way to honor him and his legacy. Yesterday, friends and family gathered at a small, intimate memorial ceremony honoring Massimo at Saint Peter’s Church in New York.

Rochester Institute of Technology is home to the Vignelli Center for Design Studies, which houses the Vignelli archives. I had the privilege of visiting a few years ago. They’ve created the Vignelli Fund for Design Excellence, which will support Vignelli scholarships, fellowships, as well as exciting programming that will help advance design excellence and Massimo and Lella’s vision through education and advocacy for decades to come.
