Belgian designer Thierry Wille reinterprets the “tabouret”, a low stool without a backrest (popular in 17th century France), by designing a modern version utilizing the solid surface material HI-MACS®. Taboustool (tabouret + stool) is made up of four wing-like, flat legs made from Hevea wood (a rubber tree) that support a U-shaped seat made of the highly durable, bendable HI-MACS®, which is often used on architectural and interior design projects.
