The Explorer Tables Are Inspired by Jellybeans

Explorer 1, 2, and 3 are a series of side tables designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona Design. They were inspired by jellybeans – yes, the candy – and successfully combine childlike wonder and elegance. With a lacquered fiberglass body, solid turned and lacquered wooden legs, and a painted glass tabletop, the Explorer tables are functionally as well as sculpturally strong. Some of the painted parts have a gloss finish while others are matte, creating reflective surfaces, depth, and added richness to the trio individually and as a group. Choose from two multicolored combinations and two monochromatic finishes (dark grey or light grey).
