Looking for a simpler compact wallet? FOCX thinks it has the solution. Recently, the company launched its latest and greatest minimalist wallet called the PIONEER. The PIONEER is being branded as a simplified and more perfected design of the wallet for 2024. FOCX might have a point.
The wallet is built to be compact and highly pocketable, but it stores a lot more than you might think. For starters, it’ll keep your cards nice and secure, unable to fall out thanks to a tight clasp. When you want to access them, simply pull the tab on the back of the wallet and they’ll pop out. It’s an easy system that prioritizes security.
But despite being so compact, it can store more than just your cards. The wallet can also hold a purpose-built coin tray, which keeps coins, keys, and other small items secure and organized. That’s more than most compact wallets like this can say. There are other add-ons that you can use with the wallet too. For example, you can get it with an RFID shield to keep cards safe from unauthorized scans, or with an NFC chip that can be used for contactless payments. And depending on how well the wallet does on Kickstarter, there will be additional colors available (outside of the already unlocked Black), including Cognac and Brown.
It’s really a unique and sleek design that makes the concept of the compact wallet even more useful. And it’s built from premium materials. FOCX says that the PIONEER is built with top grain leather, which contributes to a durable build and luxurious feel. This leather is specifically used given the fact that it ages nicely, so over time the wallet will remain secure and strong as it develops a worn look.

The wallet on its own costs a relatively reasonable $39, with additional accessories like the NFC chip or coin tray costing a little extra.
