The Modern Glen Iris House Celebrates Unique Furnishings and Artwork

Glen Iris House is a modern family home in Australia that was designed by InForm Design with simplicity in mind. The scaled back design was carefully considered in order to allow the client’s own unique furniture and artwork to shine.

The floor-to-ceiling windows create a light-filled interior that becomes the backdrop for the curated mix of furnishings.

The minimalist kitchen combines black and white cabinetry with light marble for a clean look.

A window was added in lieu of a backsplash above the sink to bring in more light.

Light blonde wood steps connect the floors within a loft-like entryway.

The upstairs houses the parent’s suite on one side and the three bedrooms for the children on the other side.
