The Munken Cube

Munken Cube is a unique object of paper and wood from the German premium interior brand e15 and the Swedish manufacturer of natural paper, Arctic Paper. Munken Cube consists of 2200 sheets of high quality, 120 g Munken paper set on a 60-mm thick solid wood plinth by e15. The dimensions and construction of the Munken Cube result in an impressive, shapeable concept for furniture or the creation of ideas.

The one-sided glueing of the paper enables the deforming and twisting of the MunkenCube. Due to its dimensions, when shifting the paper stack by hand, sculptural forms develop which turn the Munken Cube into a design object in a space. Sit on it or perhaps use it for sketching or drawing.

The idea of the Munken Cube was originated by the Hamburg-based branding and design agency JUNO, which on behalf of its client Arctic Paper set up the cooperation with the premium interior brand e15.
