These Chandeliers Are Made of Parts That Counter-Balance Each Other

Form and function is typically the most important consideration when it comes to design. Lighting design studio Paul Matter is emphasizing the two factors along with two additional ones, grace and strength, in its newest series of chandeliers called Tryst. The studio, founded by Nikhil Paul, is known for its exploration of sculptural forms, and Tryst is no exception. The interlocked forms on each chandelier simply rest on one another, suspended forever in precise stability and perfect balance. Electricity flows seamlessly through the chandelier, casting a soft diffused glow in the room and on the metal silhouette.
