TON Brings a New Way To Look at Furniture With the P.O.V. Collection

Designed in collaboration with German designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider of product design studio kaschkasch, TON’s new P.O.V. collection consists of a table available in two heights, three base types and six tabletop shapes that can be made into nearly 70 pedestal-table combinations. Because of the rounded, triangular footprint of the table base, the table itself presents a unique view from every angle. The collection also includes a stackable dining stool.

P.O.V. (which stands for ‘point of view’) is not only the apt name of the collection, it also describes kaschkasch’s approach when it comes to design. Kallus explains:

The name P.O.V., or Point of View, derives from the fact that the look of the table differs depending on the angle of the view. It also symbolizes the approach we use in our studio – as a design duo we need to understand each other’s point of view in order to reach the best possible solution. The same principle has also guided our collaboration with TON.

The P.O.V. collection is available in beech, oak and American walnut wood. The stackable dining stool is available in a smooth or upholstered finish and can be transported with the minimalist stool trolley. For more information, visit ton.eu.
