vis-a-vis: A Park Bench with Opposing Views

Designed by Charles O. Job, the vis-a-vis bench is a bench that’s not like most benches on the market. Produced by ABES Public Design, the outdoor bench features two diagonally opposite back rests giving the people who sit on it, opposing views.

The steel frame bench has wooden slats for seating and back rests and despite the people sitting there facing in two directions, they can still carry on a conversation if they want. They can also ignore each other like most people tend to do in public if they choose ;)
