Vitra & G-Star RAW Launch Prouvé RAW Office Edition

Denim brand G-Star RAW and design Swiss design company Vitra partnered up to launch reissues of a selection of furniture and lighting that was originally designed for offices of French industrial companies by Jean Prouvé in the 1940s. Working with the designer’s family, Vitra has reinterpreted the designs to work in today’s modern offices, including accounting for increased human height and cable management. Prouvé RAW Office Edition is made up of ten pieces that stay true to Prouvé’s designs while bringing them into modern times.

The tables, chairs, and cabinets are made of steel and solid wood, as well as leather and heavy duty fabrics. The details and colors – industrial shades of green – were worked out by Vitra in collaboration with the art directors at G-Star.
