WantedDesign Manhattan 2018 Favorites + [VIDEO]

Once again, we explored WantedDesign in Manhattan, which is always a favorite of ours as it’s the place to see the latest from both up-and-coming and established designers. From one end of the Terminal Stores to the other, we scoped out some favorites we wanted to share. Start with our video, which includes Bento Box, Home Studios, Yuko Nishikawa, Medellin Design Week, and Istanbul Design Collective, and then onto some additional highlights.

Visual Magnetics partnered with artist/designer Camille Walala on this interactive mural encouraging visitors to jump in and ‘play more’.

The Zero Waste Bistro, designed by Linda Bergroth, offered up a tasting menu to delight the senses within an environment made from all recycled materials.

Trufquen combines traditional terra cotta pottery with mouth blown glass escaping from its crevices.

These objects are designed by Emma GvL Boomkamp and are created when oil is thrown into the kiln to create bubbles in the glass.

We loved this organic copper pendant by Filamento with its uneven green patina and textured finish.
