Over the course of 10 hours and using 16,000 LEGO bricks, Swiss designers Drzach & Suchy created an installation for the Google Zurich office that’s based on shadow casting panels, which is a technique that creates multiple images within a single object. Depending on how the light hits it, you’ll see one of two images. Their latest creation is called The Force, which either displays Yoda or Darth Vader from Star Wars.
Above: Yoda appears when the panel is lit from the bottom left side.
The panel is now being hit from the bottom center making it a cross between the two images.
Now you see Darth Vader because the panel is being lit from the bottom right.
