Yokoo’s Chunky Crochet Pieces: Revisited

It’s been 3+ years since we’ve discussed the work of Yokoo. Since we adore the beautiful, and sometimes weird, knits Yokoo Gibraan creates, we decided to take another look. As much as I love the wares she’s creating, I’m pretty obsessed with the quirky self-portraits of her modeling the gear. It makes me love the pieces (and her) that much more. From scarves, to hats, to necklaces, these aren’t your everyday knits and that’s why we love them so much. She’s even creating some really cool wood necklaces that will definitely make a statement.

I’m also impressed with anyone who has a jobby (a hobby that becomes your job – it’s a word, right?).
