12 Kids Rooms That Make Us Want to Go Back In Time

I still remember my childhood bedroom, with its green shag carpet and oversize floral wallpaper—on the ceiling. Yes, I was a child of the seventies. My parents actually put quite a bit of effort into the space, though I’m not sure that was the norm. These days, children’s rooms range from princess fairylands to sports dens that would make LeBron James weep. I prefer my spaces not so theme-y. Here are a dozen fresh kids’ rooms, including colorful contemporary bedrooms and black and white Scandinavian style spaces.
