A Modern Maisonette Apartment in the Heart of Munich

Holzrausch designed the interior of this maisonette apartment as if it were a high-end hotel suite. Located in Munich, Germany, the unique apartment spans two offset floors that are united by an entrance that features a two-story mirror and dark walnut panel wall.

The dark wood wall and copper fixtures create a warm, welcoming entryway. The giant mirror gives the illusion of double staircases and a much larger space than it actually is.

The lower floor houses the private spaces, while the upper floor features the open kitchen, living room, and dining room.

A cut-out in the kitchen offers views to the double-height entryway while allowing daylight to pass through.
