Decor Networking: &ability Table by Alberto Fabbian

&ability is a table with components that range from lampshades, bowls, wicker baskets, and ceramic vases, all of which are their own separate entities but when assembled together, they form a cohesive unit. Designed by Alberto Fabbian, in collaboration with Antoniazzi & Piovesana and Bosa Ceramiche, to reflect networks “as personal and business intersections reflecting culture and land, through unique and matchless know-how.”

Networks connect people, places, and events, and while social networks have always been around, networking itself is a much more modern idea. The different objects that sit embedded in the table are made through various craftsmen using their own expertise in their fields to make up the unified finished product. Therefore, there is a connection between every piece and every individual that worked together to make the project happen.

The components can be mixed up and used in a variety of ways depending on the user’s needs and the look they want to go for.
