Designer Vasiliy Butenko created his new Acorn lights by simply cotton rope around a bottle. He wanted to avoid the complex manufacturing techniques related to weaving and create something more simple.

Please, designmilk, when showing us pics of light fixtures, can you include photos of them in the dark with the fixture actually turned on? Thanks.

After having another look, I now see in the last shot that the fixture IS on, however, the room is not dark enough to really appreciate it.
