Nuno Brandão Costa really surprises us with this amazing structure. Two concrete structures lined against the granite rock containment wall: one housing the garage and the other, the kitchen and bedrooms in one large, open space. By placing the master bedroom upstairs, the roof now becomes habitable space with a wood lined terrace. What I really like is the use of stainless steel on the sliding doors outside. That and the use of dark wood make it look like a big appliance. A big, modern appliance that you can live in. We like it!
