Alberto Alessi, the head of a world-famous design factory, has created hundreds of charming products. There is something very youthful, fresh, and whimsical about the work that comes out of this design factory.

I’m disappointed, Design Milk. Was it intentional to include in the collage the “yellow” product on the left? What a “youthful, fresh, and whimsical” take on tacky racism.

Hi, H. Thanks for your keen observations. Including that “yellow” product was by no means a racist statement. What I find interesting is that even though he created this product that people think is racist, The National Palace Museum of Taiwan has asked him to create a line of products.
