Amateur Masters Chair by Jerszy Seymour for Ngispen

I’m usually not a huge fan of reworking the classics, but I kind of like these Amateur Masters Chairs by Jerszy Seymour for Ngispen.

The classic modernist forms are reimagined using a hand-molded production technique from polycaprolactone wax. By not challenging form, Jerszy Seymour means to underline the point that objects support systems and that it is the systems we must challenge and design. Polycaprolactone wax is strong and 100% biodegradable.

You can see them in person at Super Brands London, September 20-23 2012 Old Truman Brewery in London, during the London Design Festival.
