Beertone: A Beer Color Reference Guide

We’re all well schooled on Pantone and now it’s time to get educated on beer, or the color of beer, with Beertone. Beertone aims to be a beer reference guide that is based on, you guessed it, the colors of beer.

From light to dark, each beer swatch will feature a picture of the bottle, a description, the color of the beer, and all the color’s info, like RGB, CMYK, Web, and SRM (the beer color scale). The first edition covers 202 beers from Switzerland.

I imagine since they are photographing the color of each beer as it appears in a glass that someone got to taste all 202 of them – lucky!
