Big Switch Light by Castor Design

This compact table lamp is called Big Switch for a reason – because it highlights a necessary feature instead of hiding it. Most lamps attempt to disguise the on/off switch in some way, but Castor Design chooses to make it a design detail by making them a larger, crescent-shaped button on top with a ridged surface and in one of four colors.

Both the base and switch are cast in red, yellow, blue, or black polyurethane, just as you’d find in a skateboard wheel, while the body is made of powder coated steel (in black or white).
