I am cracking up over the title of this chandelier, called the Bird Poop Chandelier, made by Wyatt Little. Paying homage to his elementary schooldays, when he found himself standing below a beautiful Oak tree, shortly after being pooped on by a rather inconsiderate bird. Even though he says it was a regrettable moment, he took this particular memory and created something beautiful and lighthearted. Having been pooped on two separate occasions both while riding inside of a car, I can relate to the whimsy of this piece.

Cute design, but I wouldn’t place this anywhere near people eating. Although cute, it makes me think about bird shit, which is not very appetizing.

At first I thought \I don’t understand what’s so funny.\
Then I realized what the beads were. Still think it’s great glasswork! All those birds look like they’re jostling to get to the top. Perhaps this particular fixture doesn’t send the message most of my clients are looking for, but I would definitely consider this artist for other pieces since he’s clearly quite talented.

I love it! This isn’t what most of my clients are looking for, but clearly the artist is very talented. It’s such an animated piece, it looks like all the birds are jostling to get to the top. I just thought it was a nicely crafted fixture, then I realized what the beads were :)
