The Blade Table by Alexander Purcell Rodrigues & Mykon

Alexander Purcell Rodrigues and Mykon joined forces on the first product of its kind in the form of The Blade Table. The table utilizes Mykon’s innovative aluminum honeycomb technology that allows for a super thin design but with incredible strength.

The tabletop is only 11mm thick and spans 2100mm long without the need for any type of bracing underneath, allowing for the table’s design to be scaled back to a simple form.

The legs are attached just underneath giving it the illusion that the tabletop is floating. Initially Blade is being made in highly polished aluminum with plans to expand to wood veneer or lacquered tops.
