CalmSpace Cat Nap Pod Makes Afternoon Siestas Much Easier

Something I can always get down with is a nap, and when something comes out to make my naps better, I’m jumping for joy (actually I’m curling up in the fetal position ready to go to sleep). Furniture company Haworth partnered with designer Marie-Virginie Berbet to create the nap capsule of my dreams called CalmSpace.

The module is made for an office where workers can lay down on the upholstered mattress and choose the time they’d like to spend napping – 10 to 20 minutes. To help the napper sleep, the capsule plays preset lights and sounds that make it easy to fall asleep and just as easy to wake up.

The company worked with Zyken, who “provided scientifically-validated light and sound technologies,” and proves that it’s the perfect place to recharge while at work. Wouldn’t you like your office to have one of these sleep pods?
