Carpets Made From Socks and Shirts

I love a good WTF design from time to time and today’s comes from Israeli designer Keren Shiker of k.s design and her Obsessions collection of work – the Socks Carpet and the Shirts Carpet. She transforms everyday materials you find around the home into warm, fuzzy rugs by using her “obsessive repetitiveness of a single product” idea.

Ever want to lounge around on a pile of warm laundry fresh out of the dryer? Clean clothes seem so inviting, don’t they? I’m sure we’re all basking in an overabundance of socks and shirts and Shiker took that to the next level to make rugs with a sense of humor.
