Ceramic House by García & Ruiz Architects

The Ceramic House by García & Ruiz is located in Spain. It’s a converted attic space belonging to an old building. There’s a lot of space flexibility — spaces intercept each other, creating and merging into another dimension. The muted palette helps to make the illusion of a bigger space. The only problem that I see is the privacy and some safety issues… like in the “bedroom.”

Looks great… but I definitely would not feel safe sleeping there. Or sitting in that living room. But maybe that’s because I’m from SoCal where they always warn about some impending massive earthquake?
love white ….cleanly…compact design but not simple……
I’m inlove by that mirror wall
IF THE OWNERS HAVE DARK HAIR, THEY’RE SCREWED
Loving those lines and spaces. Ceramic is a stunning material, it can be reinterpreted in so many different ways. I’ve seen photos of projects in which special ceramic tiles have been used – Geotech by Floorgres. Those tiles are inspired by a special stone that is only found on the Island of Madeira and that has the appearance of fossil wood. A real mix of natural elements.
