The name of this new seating system, Circula is derived from the Latin “circulus: the circle.”
Circula is a seating system designed by Taurus Design and produced by German brand Brune. In using the circle as their starting point, Taurus has created a circular design that serves as the basis for an unprecedented seating furniture from which there are innumerable possible configurations.
Two equal-sized circles constitute the basic design from which a wide range of geometrically formed seating-accommodations can be created. With its design of centric circles, every combination forms a continuous pattern of geometric elements whose singularity is underlined by fine quilting seams.
