This low-process, environmentally friendly desk lamp designed by Dana Cannam consists of a solid maple base, LED strip, wire, and free-moving cantilevered arm. The objective was to create a design object that uses the functionality of an unfinished hardwood.

That’s pretty cool looking. Very minimalistic and would definitely catch people’s eye. I’d have one of those in my living room because it would go with anything really.
