Dialoguemethod designed CRANE Lamp for Korean furniture brand MUNITO to mimic that of an actual tower crane but stripped of all unnecessary adornment. Designed instead as a minimal structure using less material, the wooden lamp is assembled with simple bolts and wing nuts, making it easy for the consumer when they put it together at home.
The colorful cord isn’t just functional and fun to look at, it’s an actual part of the lamp that helps provide strength for the long pieces of wood. It also visually adds weight to the slender design.
