Creme Cycles

Creme Cycles is a new European company manufacturing classic commuter bikes. Although the company is young, it has roots in design and manufacturing that date back to the beginning of the century.

Creme’s mission is to make timeless, quality urban bikes propelled by passion. Each bike is made with a hand built, lugged steel frames and unique features such as Brooks leather saddles and hand polished rims. The frames in the higher end models are built by Tange, a world famous maker of cromoly tubes from Japan, with an 90 year tradition.

They’ve launched three main lines: The track bike line is called Vinyl — classic fixed gear bikes in several color options and two price levels. The Caferacers are classic randonneur bikes that are great for long distance riding and commuting, giving the perfect balance between speed and comfort. They come in men’s and ladies’ models, where the latter is built around beautiful “mixte” frames. The Holymoly line is a modern twist on Dutch-style bikes, and here Creme also offers both ladies and men’s models in two price levels.

Sad that in my city (Sevilla, Spain) you can not have such a beautiful bike because of the thieves :(

Wonderful-looking cycles. I think it’s great when an old company rejuvenates itself through a different path.

  4. How much is the average cost for one of the creme bikes?
