“What happens when one doesn’t resist tension or try to control it, accepts it and maybe even embraces the tension and struggle?” That is the question that designer Azadeh Shladovsky explored when designing her second capsule collection, DE+. With a goal of capturing the beauty that comes with vulnerability, Shladovsky created 10 pieces of sculptural furniture that appear simple at first glance, but their complexity shows through under close inspection.
