Drowning in Debt Salt & Pepper Shakers by Sebastian Errazuriz

If an everyday object could represent the plight of so many, it would be these Drowning in Debt salt and pepper shakers by New York-based artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz. It could be from debt or unemployment, but either way, the shakers reflect the struggle of many workers out there.

The workers will slowly be uncovered as you sprinkle away your salt or pepper but will eventually be buried again when refilled. I’m sure we’ve all felt that way at some point, yes?
