Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah… Are you telling me that you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
The DeLorean Motor Company of Texas (yes, they are still in business) has announced plans to launch an all-electric version of the DeLorean in 2013. The car, made popular in the Back to the Future movies, will be updated to reduce the weight of the vehicle and to bring in the more modern technology of today’s cars. While still in the prototype phase, the company is continuously tweaking the car for optimum performance. In anticipation of the new DeLorean release, perhaps you can score a pair of the recently made 2011 Nike MAGs, today’s version of Marty McFly’s high tops.

Just a point of fact, DMC of Texas is *not* the same company as the one that original DMC. It’s a separate company that purchased the remaining parts and assets from the defunct DMC and basically services the remaining cars.
