Energy Calendar by Yurko Gutsulyak

The idea behind this calendar is to turn the process of each passing day into something spectacular. By burning each match that represents each day, it turns into a major event. It reminds me of blowing birthday candles, with each candle representing each year that the birthday celebrant has lived.

  1. Interesting! Instead of “time flies”, this is time burns! I may be interested in buying one, or maybe more for friends too.

I’m not sure about this one… My first thought is that it’s an unnecessary waste of paper, plus it actually emits CO2 from the burning. A double whammy of negative environmental impact. Why is this called the “Energy” Calendar?

  3. I’m sorry to be the one who brings this up, but this thing was already featured on practically all design blogs … two years ago !

i’m a big fan of your discoveries, but … no sorry ! Can’t approve this one. (take a look at the calendar it’s for ’08)
