Escape-S: Domino-Inspired Lighting by Ray Power for LZF

Designed by Irish designer Ray Power for LZF Lamps, the Escape-S light consists of thin rectangles of FSC certified Polywood arranged into a ring-shaped shade. The circular shape appears as if a series of dominoes were caught mid-air as they were falling. Power’s trademark ability for taking two-dimensional components and bringing them together to form a three-dimensional object continues with his latest collaboration with LZF.

Imagine a handful of dominoes being tossed into the air and watch as they haphazardly begin to fall. Freeze that moment and you get the idea that Power was going for.
